WHO'S BEST AT REWORKING A FACTORY HARNESS
I'M LOOKING INTO GETTING MY 5.3L HARNESS REWORKED, BUT I DONT KNOW WHO TO GO WITH, THEIR ARE A COUPLE OF COMPANIES I'M LOOKING AT RIGHT NOW AND THEY ALL LOOK DEPENDABLE. I WOULD LIKE TO GET SOME FEEDBACK FROM PEOPLE THAT HAVE GOTTEN THEIR FACTORY HARNESS REWORKED AND WHO THEY DID IT WITH. THANKS FOR ANY HELP GIVEN. <img border="0" alt="[USA]" title="" src="graemlins/patriot.gif" />

Howell Developments did mine. Very professional guys there. The finished harness was really great. I think their website is www.howell-efi.com

I have been able to rework my own harness using schematics, and I have had very good luck. I have done four differnt style computers, both OBDI and OBDII. If you aree willing to do a little wire tracing and labeling, you can save a lot of money, plus have more control on what you keep or discard. Right now I am running a '99 LS1 in a '61 VW bug, but before I had a '95 Lt1, which got about 30 MPG. If you want to talk details about the harness just let me know. Bill

Speartech did mine and like was mentioned....he is a sponsor so let's show some support! His prices are very reasonable and John is always answering questions and providing a ton of free information that he had to learn the hard way.
