Do you think a intake and carburator setup would fit under a stock hood? Also is an ls1 taller than a 302?

It will be very close...

i would have to say maybe, depending largely on the air cleaner assembly.

dont forget drop motor mounts and also drop air cleaners

It sure looks like it'd fit, and since most everyone puts cowl hoods on Mustangs, it'd definitely fit like that ;)

Yes it does look like it would fit. I know it would fit under a cowl hood but I dont want a cowl because its just going to be a stock mustang. :jest:

for LS1s? with my 4.6 mounts my oil pan kisses my rack and pinion.

Seriously? Which K-member? I have like an inch or inch and a half clearance with my AJE K-member.

my pan is ilke 1/4" behind the k member cross bar.
