Default John Bzdel is famous in "Pro-Touring Street Machines" book....

Hey John,

I just purchased a book titled "How to Build & Modify GM PRO-TOURING Street Machines" and your LS1 Monte is on page 79. It is nice to know someone famous.

John, your motor mounts and oil pan simplified my swap into my 1986 El Camino and it is my daily driver. I took a measurement from the frame to the floor before and after the LS1 swap and it sits 1 inch higher. I want to lower its stance and make it corner like a Corvette which is why I purchased the book. I am hoping your wheel measurements will come close to what I need to get larger wheels on my El Camino at least where to start measuring.

I just wanted to post to extend the thanks to someone famous in the LS1 world. Keep it up John.

James

James, thanks for the props and you're welcome! The wheel offset and size of my tire & wheel combo will fit yours too (except out back where I have now notched the frame and performed a mini-tub).
