The thermostat does have four holes in the diverter valve portion to maintain a small amount of flow between the pressure and suction sides.

Show me the heater control valve.

"show me the heater control valve"
This is a question Ive been wanting to ask... I dont think there was a heater control valve on the 99 that I parted out. Actually I KNOW there wasnt. So I just figured Ide hook my 87 heater core up this way for my swap.
Whats the deal with that? No need for the heater control valve??? I dont want my heater core fighting my a/c for temperature control...

In case any ls1 rx-7 guys are, that water pump pulley will give some very good clearance if you're running the Taurus radiator fan/shroud.
I am going to have to look into it, how much was the ls2 waterpump?
Speartech, thanks for that part number, I was wondering if anyone made that u-hose. Actually, do you have any in stock right now that I could buy?

I don't have any in stock. I've just been buying them as needed for our test engines.

New question. The ls2 pump from a gto...does it use the removable thermostat? But has the wider pulley?
