I am running 75 front and 78 in the rear and it was a little lean. I am going back to the dyno now that I got my timing issues worked out and re-tune it.

So far on my LS6 i haven't noticed any knock. I am running the edelbrock ignition setup
with the #3 pill. I don't understand why y'all are running lean, with the 625 road demon
i had to reduce my IFR's and IAB's cause i was running extremely rich at idle and cruise.
Now i have it pretty much dialed in 14.4-.7 @idle, 13.9-14.4@cruise, 12.8-13.3@WOT,
this is with 70's up front and 78's in rear. What kind of vacuum #'s are you pulling at idle
and WOT? You may have to change your power valve to a looser one if you are pulling
a lot of vacuum.

timing
i built my own ignition system for my carb 5.3ls and set the timing in 200 rpm steps with max advance 36* using a stock computer and efi live to set advance works really great, i don't know much about the msd box , but i know that carbs like more advance than efi .

I basically just disabled the map sensor and am running a custom mechanical advance (like the old days of mech advance only dist).

I just set mine up for 32 all in by 2500, runs real good, still breaks up at around 5600 or so, i guess my valve springs are weak, it does show my tach off by a little but only 100 rpm or so, but it is hard to watch when i get on it. going to try and go to the track tomarrow.
