My Blown 6.0/80E 1971 Olds Cutlass
Well guys heres the start of my project buildup:
1971 Cutlass Supreme originally Rocket 350/TH 350/ 8.5" 10 bolt 3.73
Currently I am finishing up the front suspension so I can get her on her feet and pull the Olds motor out. I am running to Oklahoma City on Monday to pick up my complete LQ4/80E drop out. Plans are to use the Autokraft oil pan, T-D mounts and S&P swap headers
The car as finished will be a budget G-machine. The rear suspension is done. Out back are tubular control arms, sway bar, -1.3" springs, Energy Suspension bushings and 12" drilled/slotted brakes. The front features factory control arms with Energy bushings, 1 1/4" sway bar, -1" springs, and 13" drilled/slotted brakes with billet hubs.
More to come this week!

I'm dropping an LQ4/4l60E into a 68 Firebird. I'm arm wrestling with two brothers that both have Supercharged C5 Corvettes. We are putting in Forged High Compression 402/LS2 motors in their cars so i'm trying to get one of them to sell me their supercharger for cheap. One is a Polished Magnuson and the other is a polished Vortech. Both are intercooled and I figure that the lower compression of the LQ4 would be perfect for a bit of Forced Induction. If they won't go for my deal I have some ported LS6 heads and a LS6 intake manifold planned. Good luck on the Cutlass, My first car was a 1970 Cutlass. I miss that car.

Well I got the front suspension sorted out, just waiting on my 17x8 Torq Thrust M's black with polished lip to show up, they have been back ordered for 2 months Today I pulled the Olds motor out, pretty uneventful actually, did it by myself in about 3 hours. Now i can get the frame cleaned up and start getting the 6.0 ready.
