v6 01 car 99 ls1 engine wiring questions, HELP

v6 01 car 99 ls1 engine wiring questions, HELP i was planning on doing my conversion the last week of may but i am having problems finding out what the problems with the wiring are. i hear that the underhood wiring harness needs to be changed for an ls1. also i hear that the 99 engine harness will not pin up right.
So if i change the underhood wiring to 99 ls1 and use 99 engine harness will this work??
OR do i need to a. get 01 ls1 under hood wiring, and 01 engine harness and pcm,
b. get any ls1 underhood wiring and have 99 engine harness modified(if so by who, speartech is not responding to emails very well, shot me a price i asked for address and phone number 7 days ago no reply?)?
c. anyone out there converting a 99 v6 car to 01 ls1 want to trade engine wiring harnesses and pcm's i guarantee the one i have works??
Please help does anyone out there have 01 engine harness and pcm, and underhood wiring harness?

99 ls1 with auto trans and engine wiring harness and pcm
99 ls1 instrument cluster
99 engine cradle k-member
99 ls1 steering rack
99 fuel pump
99 pedal assembly with cables
fuel lines
radiator
addons-slp off road long tube headers, ls6 intake without egr and air pump, slp y-pipe, slp cats, slp loudmouth exhaust.

Re: v6 01 car 99 ls1 engine wiring questions, HELP I would go simple and order a Painless LS1 Wiring kit and the whole motor will be wired up, and then you can hook up all your dash/gauges etc seperately.
