My car's in HPP!

I had a photo shoot for High Performance Pontiac a few months ago and it just got published :) You should have it soon if you have a subscription, but I don't think it'll be in stores until next month (maybe). It's in the October issue.

I met the author at Southern Trans Am Regionals car show and they took pictures before I shipped the car to Germany. I'm happy with the article and I'm stoked to see it in a mag!

well done! I've been waiting for HPP to do a feature on an LSX thirdgen for quite some time now.

Thanks guys! I tried uploading a pic of the first page, but the internet connection sucks over here. I'll try it again tomorrow.

They actually did a feature on Bruce Hawkins LS1 car several years ago, back when this conversion was new. I don't think they've done any other stories since then, so I'm glad they picked mine. It's still a work in progress (the interior is stripped out now) but the big stuff is done now. :drive:

Awesome!

Congrats!

I finally got a picture loaded, here's the first page at least. If I can get others then I'll add them later.

I dont subscribe to HPP due to their lack of lsx related material
they seem to concentrate on numbers matching cars and parts,
and reminisce too much of the old poncho days'
but i will def. be picking this issue up

Well, they don't specialize in any model or year-group, so they try to keep everyone happy. They cover everything from numbers matching to modified old cars and late model stuff. The cover story of my issue is a pro-touring 68 Firebird; badass car! They have also been running a few stories lately on late model GTO performance upgrades and they frequently list parts for LSX or F-body cars.

I'm not too interested in numbers-matching articles either, but I like seeing what people are doing to their cars; old or new. Luckily we have plenty of choices when it comes to car magazines though!
