My LS1 + T56 pullout came today
02 Camaro LS1 + T56. 18k miles.
I looked real quick to see if there were any block numbers. I'll look more this weekend if these don't tell me anything. I found this on the head.
And this stamped on the left side of the block where the bellhousing mates with it.
The first one says K070 686 and the second one says 222148576. If anyone knows if those numbers can tell me anything, let me know.

Similar to what I paid for mine. Same year and mileage but mine was from an SS (not a big difference). Where'd you buy it?
Where'd the shift **** go? Looks like the pallet had a hard life. Any damange to the pan?
The other # you want to check is on the block behind the Left head, if I remember right. will tell you if you have a LS6 block or not. No HP gain but it's interesting.

I got it from RandJ Distributing. Found them on eBay and gave them a call. The guy I talked to every time was very helpful and put up with my constant calling to check up on it.
Yeah, the pallet sucked. That's the only thing I didn't like about my dealing with them. If they were to put a sheet up plywood on top of the pallet it would have been great. But the engine broke through the pallet and the shipping company had to set it on another pallet to get it to me. I only paid $350 for shipping, so I guess I got what I paid for.
No damage to the engine.
Thanks for the pic. I'll check it out this weekend.

That's funny. I bought mine from RandJ as well (in April). Very similar engine. The packaging on mine was less than ideal as well. It was not secured will to the pallet. Mine did sustain some damage in shipping. The P/S pulley was broke. However UPS covered it and so all is well.
I've put over 1,000 miles on my engine/trans and it runs great.
