On at 100 degree day, i was running 13.5 on street tires and using my old TPI intake. Im sure once i put on my cold air intake i will be low 13's maybe even high 12's. just need a good tune and a nice cool day.

From what i saw at the track, A bone stock 01 Z28 with T-56 was running 14 all night... Putting a LS1 into a 3rd gen is well worth it. You get faster times for the buck with our cars. Does this make sence

Thirdgens are, depending on options, generally lighter.
My iroc, with a 4th gen dash/seats, LB9, t-tops etc sits around 3000 - 3100 lbs.
Im hoping with the LM7 (5.3L), Cam, Headers, LS1 intake ill be able to get high 12's

What your doing your going to get the 12's easy! With a good tune. who knows, maybe mid 12's.... I noticed when i took out my old motor and put in the LS1, the front of my car was really high. Looked funny. The LS1 is about 100 pounds lighter.
