power steering I am certain that this will be the dumbest question on this thread but...does the car not have power steering? I didn't see the ps pump on the front...
haha, naw not dumb. Trust me I've asked worse than that before I started on the car..
Anyhow no it doesn't have power steering, right now. After driving a couple with power steering I wasn't like the "twitchy" feel of the car. Then I drove one without PS. IIRC it had a 15:1 flaming river rack similar to what's on my car now. Loved the feel of it. I can always add PS later if I choose to. We'll see after I get it on the road and some laps around a track with it..

So what's it been? Almost a year I've been wrenching on this thing? Had the first start last month. So this month I figured why get it out and drive the damn thing. Good idea huh?
Had to get the driveshaft lengthened a few inches, it finally got done a few days ago. Still waiting on some stuff for the exhaust but I figured, screw it, I'm driving the damn thing..
Here's the vid. I'm out to go clean off the driveway. Damn new LS7 clutch and it grabbing right off the floor. All I can say is wow. This car is gonna be LOADS of fun!!!

Crap. Got all carried away with the driving and forgot to post pics of some actual work. Started work on getting the seat base and belts mounted.

hahaha...I had one of those in my 87 TA. I got a few of them and was going to stick on in the 86...probably under the hood on the rad support or something. So it looks official. hehe.
