Now that I have a LW 15032 SBC/T5 bellhousing, did you just enlarge the fork opening to allow fore/aft movement, or was there a method to the madness? Do it differently the next time?
As always, thanks for the help!

I just enlarged the Shift fork opening for proper clearance and then repainted it. I wouldn't have changed anything if I had to do it over again but now that Quicktime came out with theirs it would make it more simple.

I hear ya. I emailed Quicktime, and their response was that one would still have to drill/tap for the pivot ball. And if their product is still setup for the hydraulic clutch, then the opening will probably be small as well.
Maybe as this swap gets more popular, companies like Lakewood, McLeod, and Quicktime will make their bells with provisions to place the pivot ball on either side.

I have had a few different threads on here with progress updates. As of now the car is together, painted, and running. I took it to the track last week and the best was a 12.30 @ 111 and a 1.79 Sixty foot on radials. Not what I was hoping for but I have a fuel pressure issue "or lack of" and the car is not transfering weight correctly so I need to adjust all my suspension as well. Here is a link to the latest pics and blog that I have

i have a few questions .. hope you still come on here i know it's a old thread , i'm building a 6.0 stang now and just found a bellhousing from quicktime to use my T-5 , you used a clutch from a ls1 right ? .. what did you use for a Throwout bearing ? hydro ls1 ? wonder if a foxbody clutch would work if i just redrilled the LS flywheel to the ford pressure plate bolt circle ?(i'm a cnc machinist).. I'D really like to save some cash and reuse parts i already have .

Good questions, I'd like to know this too. I have the Quicktime bell 6037 which is for the Ford longer length input shaft, and has a hole for locating the clutch cable. I am waiting on a Keisler RS 600 5 speed, which uses the 1 & 1/8", 26 spline input shaft. I am told the basic Ford T.O bearing will work.

It was a roller bearing but it came with the lakewood bell housing so I don't know the part number of the bearing. You should be able to contact lakewood to find out what it is though.
