where in houston to do LS1 swap into 68' c10?
does anyone know someone that does LS swaps into older vehicles in Houston?
please post up if you know someone or a shop that will do it?
or if someone that has done it before wants to do a side job, please post up, i'll be happy to help aswell in whatever i can but i am not much mechanic incline, thanks!

different people has told me the same, i just wish i knew alittle bit of mechanic, i have helped do cam swaps, but i would never tackle a project like that by myself... and it would be a good learning experience but i really want it to get done right. lol..

There are enough aftermarket drop in pieces to make it fairly straight forward. Edelbrock F-body headers fit, there are motor mounts available and the wiring is pretty simple. As far as the trans cross member, slide it back or forward and drill a few holes in the frame..
If you have all the parts, It's as easy as a cam swap just more time consuming.
