1927 Model-T Twin Turbo
Last outing I ended up at 4c and 12r in the back. Also tightened up the front a bunch.
I'd like to see if it slowed down a bunch now, but I didn't have a pal to video last outing. Also went from 13psi down to 8 in the slicks. Need to get new video to see what its doing.
Draggy put me down to several 1.30 60's and a few 5.8x's at 104! lol. Had to let off due to traction issues up top. Makes me wonder what the old girl would do at a "good" track.
But nothing broke and I cruised it home so I guess its a win.
Slicks are wrapping well at 10psi. Squeaked out the worlds smallest wheelie in this one.

Once I have it going straight I'd like to bump it up a tad in to the 130's. See if I can knock off some sub 5.50 passes.

5.44 @ 128.9.

Looked back at the logs and I was leaving at 4900 and 8lbs. Feels very tame in the car. Like I could bump it up the power a ton. I Re-adjusted everything for the slicks. Rear dips maybe 2-3” and nose maxes out just enough to lift both wheels about 2 inches off the ground. Not pulling timing anymore on launch. Just slicks and goes. Will need video to verify, but feels like a dead hook. I’m told its better to spin a slick a revolution or 2 on the hit. I’ll keep bumping it up and see how it reacts. Only at 6500 or so though the traps at 130. Feel like a I need to swap the 3.90 out with this goofy tall tire. Get a 4.10 or even 4.30 or so on there if I don't turn it up any. Would leave MUCH harder.... couple better and be happier overall. Feel like this car shoudl easily be in the 1.2X 60’ range and 7k+ through the traps.
Or add 100hp or so... lol
