Default Parts For Convertible Tops

Guys
I'm looking for a couple of parts for my 2000 firebird convertible. I'm not sure what the parts are called. I'm looking for the metal piece that clamps the cloth to the frame that has a dozen or so small metal screws in it. Mine is really rusty. There is also the half round cover that hides the top frame, its above the drivers side door window.
Thanks for any help.
Regards
Mark

Best bet is to go to the dealer and get an exploded view of the top assembly.
Then you can search with part numbers and pix.
Sometime the parts are cheap from the dealer.

Try http://www.compnine.com/index.php . Once you are at the web site use the links on the left to get to Pontiac, then your year, then Firebird. A bunch of parts diagrams will start to load. Wait a bit until you can scroll down to Group 13.000. Click on the diagram and it will drill down further to the individual parts listings for the convertible top parts.

You can also use this web site to decode your VIN to find out all of the RPO codes for your car.

Cheers!
