Default why my top wont close, nd help, pics inside

For some reason this bar just will not swing out on its own for the top to close. I just tried putting some grease on the joint but still creaks and will not fold up on its own. Anything not look correct?

How it is suppose to look when closing:

How its NOT suppose to look: (locked up)

Other pics of the area:

Problem area highlighted in red:

Are those normally hidden by or inside something?

I have never noticed those parts on my top.

WTF!? That is a lot of bend for not knowing the reason, unless I am missing something. Do you have B4 and after pics to show how it should be?

Did it at any point hit your cage when closing, or even opening for that matter? Maybe it is touching somewhere depending on how the body flexes and it bound up. In your pics, it looks like your cages is painted, I would check it for scuffs in the paint
