3 Point SFC's???

Has anyone found 3 point SFC's that will fit a vert? I contacted UMI and BMR. Both reps told me that they plan to produce them in the near future. But, they would not give me a date (that was in January). I relly doubt hey will produce them this year. If we could find a set, I am sure someone could photograph them them and post measurements (if that is not breaking any patent rules). That way, we could have 3 point SFC's made locally. Does anyone have a set that they could photograph and post measurements?

Has anyone installed 3-point subframe connectors on a convertible F-body?

farmington May 11, 2011 09:13 PM

I found an unused set of SLP subframe connectors. They're 3 point. Got em for only $135 too. There's gotta be more sets of them around somewhere.

man2004 May 13, 2011 11:23 AM

Maybe I'll post in the "parts wanted" section...

farmington May 13, 2011 01:24 PM

The SLP's aren't the "double diamond" type, but they do have 3 mounting points.

Do you have a link for the convertible SLP SFC's?
I looked on LM performance. But, all of the descriptions said "except convertibles".

farmington May 15, 2011 08:00 AM

no. All I know is that SLP used to sell them but don't anymore. They still sell them for non-verts. Maybe contact them, might be some laying around. I got mine from a guy who got them with his car and didn't want to put them on. Must have been good timing.

I contacted SLP and they don't have any. I'm in the same boat, looking for some good sub-frame connectors, might have to get someone local to make a custom set.

If you can find a shop in Central FL that will make custom 3-point SFC's for verts, please let me know. A shop might be more motivated if we have several sets made at once. Count me in for two sets as long as the price is not crazy! I was not able to motivate BMR, UMI, or any of the local South FL shops.

Probably would be easier and cheaper to buy a set of 2 point bars and have them modified to 3 point.

I hear ya! I spoke to the BRM and UMI reps today. I also email the reps every couple of months. Still no go! I got the brush off again!

Noob here!

I too would be interested in a set so if there is a list please put me on it. Thanks!

UMI is saying late summer for 3 point SFCs. Anyone interested please send them an email!

Please send me the UMI rep's email address.

On another note, have asked a couple of shops here in Orlando, no interest yet. As previously mentioned, might be best just to get a set and have them customized...

man2004 May 28, 2011 07:25 PM

My contact at UMI is Jerry Mondock. Please email him often.
