Default Any difference in K-members between Vert & TTop Cars

Plan to do a lq9 swap in my vert that started with a 3.8L v6.
Starting my parts list with K-member and found something out of a TTop Car.

Were the kmembers for verts & regular fbodies interchangeable?

TIA

^^^ Exactly!
After working on these cars at my shop and helping friends out I can say they are 100% the same in every way shape and form.
Sounds like a fun swap good luck with it

Thanks man, I learned alot fixing up my v6.
Now the 100k motor is tired from my daily 75 mile commutes, so its time to get started with a lq9 short block over the winter.

There are two different part numbers for the rack and pinion based on the suspension package, was a painful experience learning that.

As in different part numbers for an SS/ws6 vs a z28?

Looking into buying a strut tower brace.

*EDIT* Until I do swap the motor, i want to upgrade the suspension , by 1 component at a time.

All brands list that the same strut bar can't be used on 98+ v6 camaro models.
I'm pretty sure the ls1 intake sits a lil higher than the 3.8 Intake.

Any Idea why?

What is the point of that question. it doesn't fit under the intake and accessories Of a v6. If you're doing a 6 liter then the only thing that effects you is if you use a fast 102 or not.

True, and sorry didn't intend to make it confusing, I edited my last post.
I want to drive the car as a v6 for now and upgrade the suspension first until I do the motor swap.
First thing I am thinking about doing is the strut tower brace.

If you are worried about it fitting or not I'd just hold off. Start at a different point like the panhard bar or relocation brackets. There's plenty of places to start with suspension

Yes, two different part numbers based on suspension package. The racks have identical dimensions, but a slightly different angle where the steering column bolts to the rack.

On my base TA, a shop ordered the rack from a WS6, then beat the ever-living you know what out of the car trying to get the steering column to bolt on to the rack.

Just do your research before you buy and you'll be fine.
