Thought I'd show the 'vert section some love....

I've been without my car for 6 weeks, and I get it back this weekend. What started out as a plan to replace a leaky oil pan gasket has morphed into much more. Completed so far are the heads/cam swap (with all supporting mods), fuel system, complete dyno/street tune, full exhaust and some suspension work.

To top it off, the car is getting a full repaint, ended up going with Civilian Black, supposed to be GM's deepest shade of black. Car is getting final wet-sand and buffing today, then goes for a full detail.

Needless to say, I can't wait for this weekend!!!

A few pictures of the progress. Custom-grind cam, custom y-pipe, antenna delete and a teaser of the new paint.

Very nice paint job, lets talk about those exhaust pipes, how much further do they go back, any other exhaust pics?

I can get some exhaust pics later this week, but from the custom-y it goes into a flowmaster merge, then a short section of intermediate-pipe before going up and over the axle. There's a low-profile e-cutout from DMH just before the bend, and I had a brand-new SLP dual-dual muffler installed.
