I know that you're working hard, and we appreciate that. Given the time and effort invested thus far, do you have any idea what the ballpark price of one of these is going to be? That would at least give us the community the opportunity to have that amount saved for when they're completed and ready for sale, so that you have an idea earlier of how many want one in the first run.
Are you still investigating a style similar to what was offered originally for the 4th Gens, the style similar to what has been offered in the 5th Gens (lexan), or both?

I sent my original Oris windscreen off to Mark to be reversed engineered for the demand that is still in the market. The company no longer makes them.
Considering he has had to obtain a CNC machine, and also a convertible 4th gen for fitment testing, this is a long term project.
I also don't see why everyone wants those ugly plexiglass versions when they were never on the table. If they were, he never would have needed a donor screen...
Sorry if I come off as a dick, I just get tired of reading every other post that asks if he can make the plexiglass versions.

You can get off your high horse, because you did come off like a dick. You apparently didn't take your own advise, because if you'd read back in the thread, you'd have seen that I didn't want one of the plexiglass version, I wanted one of the original version. I posted in this thread before you, and before the plexiglass version was even brought up, because of my interest in the original 4th Gen version of this windstop.
Others have expressed interest in the plexiglass version, and in the interest of updates for everyone, I included that topic as well in my previous post, because for those of us who did not have a windscreen to donate for reverse engineering, we're not in on the "inside" with this process, and therefore don't know what is being done.
So, thank you for your contribution to this process. Still interested in knowing what the ballpark price of these is going to be, because while yours was $150, I have a hard time believing with the time and equipment investment involved, that it will be in that ballpark.

Once we have this version figured out we can do either, no problem.
Cost I have no idea yet as I'm still figuring out the material involved to make it.
There's no "prototyping" surcharge added though as most companies do. I just make whatever I think is cool and instead of jacking up the price of one part to pay for itself my business plan is just eventually all the parts I make will eventually just balance each other out lol.
