There's a company which makes wind deflectors. I don't think I can mention the name, but they wrote me that they will have Firebird deflectors in 2 months or so.

Can't confirm that it won't be vaporware. They do sell versions for other cars.

I think you can post a link to their site as long as it is not competing with sponsors.

Otherwise, post eBay and Amazon would be wrong too...but then again I may be wrong and don't want to get anyone in trouble to include myself.

Default Wind deflector available

lovethedrive.com now has a wind deflector available for purchase. I got an email from them last week and I ordered one this morning. If you search for the 2002 Camaro you should find it.

I can't guarantee that all will be happy with it (my disclaimer), but I am willing to give it a try.

BTW, if you enter a coupon code of "Spring2017" at checkout, you will get a $25 discount.

Default Wind Deflector

It will be a pleasure to give a pic review (if I can figure out how to upload pictures here).

If you go to their website, there are plenty of pics.

I just ordered mine as well on Friday when I received the email, but I didn't see the post on the coupon code until after I ordered it. Such is life. Given the demand, I am surprised there are so few companies that have them.

The screen arrived Thursday, and I installed it this morning. There are 4 straps to secure the windscreen. 2 straps clamp to the seatbelt anchors in the rear seat, and the other 2 straps connect to the bottom of the plastic side panel. There is a quick release on the straps should you want to remove it. 4 metal plates hold it in place over the rear seat. Fits well, and instalation was ~5 minutes. Comes with a handy storage bag. I can post pictures if anyone is interested.

Here are some pictures.

The boot cover fits perfectly over the screen.

The two side straps are visible here. The back on is connected to the seatbelt anchor. There are quick releases to remove the entire screen. Straps can be tucked in on the side of the seats.

Almost completely covers the opening for the rear seat.

Metal supports fit perfectly on the car.

It looks good. It looks like if you fold it down you can put the top up and leave it in permanently?

According to the instructions, you can leave it in the upright position and put the roof up. I will find out tomorrow. If it doesn't work that way, I will post the information. 5 stars for the simplicity of installing this unit.
