Honestly, I can't imagine that doing a whole lot for the intended purpose since it's so far back, it still leaves the back seats open for all that incoming air to pool up in and whip around.
But it's GM, so who knows.

Love mine. Keeps the wife from complaining about her hair...

I had to fab up by own front brackets for the sliding retainers as mine didn't come with any. Only took an hour.

Just following up, because I'm interested in the final product that 6LE is looking to produce.

I shipped it out a while back, whenever my last post about it was. No updates that I know of. I'm sure he's busy with other stuff right now.

Sorry guys we were slammed with catch up coming back from SEMA but it's at he FAB shop.

Making the frame is no problem and a similar latch set up can be made but we're looking into seeing if there's a better option based off the replies of the hardware/nuts it comes with always getting dropped and lost during assembly...

Not a problem. I appreciate the information. I can't wait to see the results. I think my wife would love this for her car, and if I'm not allowed to buy something for her car, I might as well buy for hers

Well, at least it's a step in the right direction. I have money burning a hole in my account, and I don't want it to get spent elsewhere, which is why I keep checking back regularly.

We're still trying to make it work for a stock car lol. Still trying to find a place to replicate/source the brackets. We haven't stalled on it, still moving forward every day it's just been inches instead of miles recently lol.

Will the brackets be identical, improved versions, or a whole new design?

None of the above yet lol. If we are able to get there it will be more towards improved or new design as no one wants to touch this style even our CNC guy lol...
