Default 02 Camaro convertible top issues

Hi, my name is Mickey and a new member.
My 2002 Camaro convertible top will not go down all the way. In early summer 2017 a small rod on the pass side bent (while lowering top) and became detached so I removed and top went down fine. In the fall 2017 the driver side did same. Since then top stops as window is hitting back of pass seat. These rods appear to kick the assembly towards the rear of the car to allow the top to fold down?? Does anyone have any experience with this? Any schematics with part numbers I can purchase these parts? I dropped of at the local body shop and showed to Jamie but he is not sure either how this works. Any help will be appreciated.
Thank You

I'm sorry I can't help you with specifics but I'm concerned about your body shop guy not being familiar with them either. You don't need to be throwing money at his 'best guess' or first time experiences with F-body 'verts.
Hopefully someone will help you out here but this section isn't visited very often anymore as the years roll by with our cars. Good luck!
