Vert & LT's?

Hi guy's, is there a prob putting LT's on verts? I've heard so but I dont think so.

z28convert Apr 7, 2006 03:34 PM

nope. got pacesetters on mine. as long as they dont have a set of headers listed as not specifically fitting verts they should fit fine.

Thanks! I was thinking of putting on pacesetters this summer, now it's a definite ;)

Pacesetters fit perfectly fine.

Y2K Pewter SS Apr 7, 2006 11:53 PM

I never had a problem with Pacesetters or Hookers on my vert. :)

I have Hooker headers on my vert. I cant see why it would be any different from a coupe.

LSTBRED Apr 8, 2006 12:23 PM

I couldnt see why either! thats why I decided to ask other vert guy's. Thanks for your input.

No issues on my at all. 5 year old Grots on mine. Now if you lower the car it (the exhaust in general) will hit all the time on steep inclines/declines.

i think what he is reffereing to was the slps have problems with the X brace at the bottom of the car... i remember when i was young and ignorant i was all damn, slps dont work for my car :bang: :jest: and you needed a kit that they dont sell anymore to make it work on a vert :eek2: now i tell slp to kiss my grits get other brand besides tham

Got LT kooks and im lowered, Not a problem, I don't even scrap that much unless its some huge speed bump, or something like that.

You live in Houston...there are no bump or hilly drives ways there. :)

What Y-pipe you running...I use to hit everything in Atlanta, not the LT's mind you, but the Y-pipe/Cats when mine was lower with the eibachs. Put mine back to 4 wheeler stock height.

I intend this week (just ordered Bilstiens) to put on my Hotchkis 1" lowering springs, do you think I'll have major scrape? or just a little, maybe speed bumps?
Johntownsend, how did you get the headsup display? that is something I always wanted to do!
