just trying to help Dustin here, when you take the time to list these times, if we follow the format he asked for, he can just cut and paste them to add them to edit them into his list in the opening post of this thread where he has them in order as he has so far. So you guys need to do that so It doesn't look like I'm the slowest on there :jest:

:lol: Yah and its hard to fill this stuff in when im drunk half the time...some of you are gonna have 17 second cars when im finished, lol.

Dustin 04-16-2006 04:07 AM

If you guys could go back and fill in any "?" I would appreciate that. Thanks!

Shooter_Jay 04-16-2006 09:27 AM

where I have ? I just don't know the answer. Scale wasn't on that day, and I don't know my rear ratio, I assume it's stock so, 3.27 was it for stock?

Dustin 04-16-2006 11:19 AM

GU6 = 3.42
GU5 = 3.23
GU4 = 3.08
GU2 = 2.73

dont know the rpo code for other gear ratios...

Shooter_Jay 04-16-2006 11:29 AM

oh ok, GU6 on my door so 3.42 assuming the previous owner left it alone

quiet_storm98 04-17-2006 06:54 PM

oh yeah i forgot to tell you im a M6 not an A4

Do you want me to post those times or wait for your new ones? And are you running mid 12s with a procharger on 7lbs of boost??

Chas1 04-19-2006 07:28 AM

You can post those times, I don't know when I'm getting back to the track. My 60' time was killing my ET. And yes that is with a pretty much stock LS1 with a Procharger.

Dustin 04-19-2006 09:48 PM

Geezus! Wanna run em for money? lol, mine is stock internals and a few bolts on, untuned and stumbling but i am sure i will getcha. :) Do you go to any HPD meets?

2001WS6Vert 04-20-2006 06:20 AM

He says he has a converter now which will probably bump him a 1/2 sec. or so (assuming he gets decent tires). My first time out after going with the blower netted a 12.95@108 (that was the G-trim though). I've slowly worked it down into the tens.

You think so? I've had the transmission rebuilt added a stall and some MT drag radials since that time. I'm thinking high 11's right now. It pulls like a mofo for sure. I went to one HPD event at classic pizza. I'll probably be going to HRP sometime in May, I'll let you know if you want to go and give it a shot. :drive:

Dustin 04-20-2006 08:11 AM

here is my timeslip :)

2001 Trans Am Pewter colored. 3.23 Gears mods below.

90 degree heat about 60-80% humidity at bowling green kentucky.

a storm front was coming in lol.

i had spare tire and jack removed. on fuzion ZRI street tires nothing special about them about 90 bucks a piece. i had 3/4 full tank of gas i goofed up their :P this also was with my car heat soaked from driving an hour from fort campbell kentucky. i drove their took a piss and ripped this run on my very first try.

my 4 run later that evening was a 13.019 but i cant find the timeslip.

i have pace setter long tueb headers/ TSP true dual exhaust and TSP airlid. nothing else dont to my car. im running it again tommorow in some 70 degree weather and im looking to break into the 12s and mabe gain another mph. that would have to put me as one of the quickest verts for my mods.

would like a 102 octane race gas help me any?

OHYEA my car isnt tuned. so im probly slower than what i should be. i know im running rich.

Better air will help you more than any gas cept nos LOL

you probably lost maybe 2 tenths due to air conditions.

I have the same mods as you running with drag radials and i pull 12.5's
Get a 12 bolt though before you get those stickies. Dont say i didn't mention it......Boom is all that your hear rom your rear end if you do.

Chit i was pulling front tires on 13.0 runs when i had my 10 bolt and stickies. I will change my avatar for the pic.

LSTBRED 08-28-2006 05:08 PM

First outing ever, blah!.........I used 4 gears and spun in 3. The track was so crappy, I got sideways in second, I got 3 runs in 4 hours!! besides the waiting......waiting....waiting.......I had a lot of fun! got a great reaction time but spun shortly after..............did I mention waiting? I guess I will have to go out and practice more :)

got a new best yesterday 8/24/06

1/4- 13.46@105mph

60'- 2.07

best of all this was on 18 inch sumitomos and my subs and jack and spare in the trunk..I also cut a 2.05 and 2.06 60' but for some reason my 1/4 times were slower on those runs :confused:

00Camary 09-25-2006 09:49 AM

IMO you should be running better times than that since you have the headers and duals. Do you have other basic bolt ons or only those mods?

I have other boltons but for some reason it doesn't feel like my car got any quicker from the headers and true duals..i think i really need a tune but since i may be getting H/C soon i will wait on the tune

took me so long to find my timeslip. i could have broke 12s easily but i didnt have time to let my car cool down. i drove 2 hours to bowling green and ran this on my 3rd run. and couldnt match it. was 90 degree outside also. and it was without a tune. im sure now i would break under 13 if i got good conditions. i also have ett streets now but my car just boggs off the line because of TQ management.

02 Pewter SS 03-28-2007 11:09 PM

13.2 @ 109 2.6 60ft. All i did was take the catback off for that trip to the drag strip. Other than that im bone stock. I had bald 275s, on lonestar raceway which accounts for the shitty 60ft time. I have 315 drag radials now, just waiting for the right time to take it back out. The car was whatever factory weight is, spare tire included.

all i have on mine is a lid and hooker cat-back. in louisiana i ran a best 13.37 with just the lid. here in england with lid and hooker cat-back i ran a best 13.49, WTF? is there a diff in climate that made my run here slower? i use the base gas 92 octane.

I was at the strip tonight and thought I'd share the times. This was my second time ever at the track so there is room for improvement in my driving......maybe, the times were consistent for the most part (you tell me)

1st R/T .650, 60' 2.230, 1/4 13.773@ 106.10
2nd R/T.114, 60' 2.194, 1/4 13.622@106.67
3rd R/T .538, 60' 2.078, 1/4 13.547@104.03
4th R/T .323, 60' 2.241, 1/4 13.570@ 104.8

This was done with a stock 02, WS6 convertible.

13.20's @ 105 MPH & 2.072 second ( 60') ~ full weight stocker with just a lid with a K&N ~ Magnaflow replacement muffler ~ German Castrol oil & a K&N long filter ~ Exxon 93 octane fuel . Chrome 16" factory wheels with 245/50/16" Ventus HR II tires . Oh yeah , one other thing I forgot to mention , ( Z-MAX ) !

PoorMan 08-25-2007 09:03 AM

Went to the track when I was completely stock. A4 with 2.73's. I ran a 14.7 at 100mph. My 60' was like a 2.4 though.

Hope to be in the 12's next time I go with mods in sig. If I hook, I should make it. :drive:

You must scan in your timeslip for the list to be updated.
It does seem the last time it was updated was in June, I can see about getting it updated if slips are posted.
