Do vert's ever sell?

Wondering if my problems are with it being an A4 or what maybe my price is too high, but locally I've gotten no offers period. I listed it in vehicles for sale here. Just wondering if alot of people shy away from them.

TIA

I think people associate vert with expensive and high insurance.

The people on here always seem to want you to give it away. Maybe it's because most already have an F-body. I would try to sell it in the local paper.

I've heard the M6 vert's were a little harder to come by. Is that true? I've got a 2000 SS vert M6. A buddy of mine has a 97 30th SS vert M6. I didn't think they were.

Could be, but I've yet to miss a shift in my car!

After driving both, I'll take an A4 now. The M6 seems (to me now) as more of a point if discussion for bragging vice actual driving.

I miss a shift every time I drive an automatic. Too me, automatics are boring, so I literally miss shifting :D

00cls1camaross Jul 10, 2006 09:35 AM

yeah but you just cant deny that the stalled A4 shift perfect everytime and is the best for track use...

it depends who it is some prefer auto some like stick. personally i like stick so i was only going to get one if it had a m6 and thats what i got. i was more interested in the transmission then if it was hardtop t top or convertable..

to the right person its worth more.
to alot of buyers, its not worth anymore.
to racers (keeping in mind, alot on this board are racers) its generally not desired.

Actually, for me it's not...it's a multi-way tie, but one of my favorite things about my m6 goes back to my bike roots, I love being able to pick an engine speed to listen to. If you have an auto, if you're off the gas, it drops to idle right? Whereas in an m6, when you let off the gas it farts VERY nicely

Plus I like rowing through the gears among other good stuff I like about it. To each their own though. If I bought it to race, I'd have got the a4, but I bought it to drive and cruise, so I got the m6 on purpose. Especially after my first nice car that I drove for about 7 years, my tbird SC that I could have got manual, but settled for auto, and always regretted it.
