New- Weld In Convertible SFC's

We got our weld in version SFC's up on the site and ready for purchase. We also have a cool option where you can purchase hardware to bolt them in as well. This works well if you want to install them in your driveway and drive the car to have them welded in or weld them at a later date. Please take a look at the link below for additional information. lol, dam you i just got the bolt in ones for x-mas.

I thought UMI was going to release a 3 pt design like the KBDD. What is the status of that.

These look like the bolt ins with a couple of tabs added for more surface area to weld. Is there a way we could send in our bolt ins to have these added or would it be cost prohibitive or could we get the specs and have a local shop add the tabs and weld them. Thanks in advance for your time. BTW the bolt ins fit great and were probably the easiest mod i have done to my car. Very easy install and they fit perfectly.

Or you could get your bolt-in's welded. Thats what I did.

I could do that but I would assume that they did a little R&D and the tabs are in the optimum location for strength and they aren't present on the bolt ins. That is what I was referring to. Not very clear in my post though. Thanks for pointing that out. :chug:

You know all about assuming...

I have adapted several bolt-in SFCs to weld-in. Usually there's only a few places where they can be attached to the body.

Yea assuming is not good I should stop. I'll be in touch for the cage and we can look at the SFC then too if its not a problem. Thanks.
