Default Anyone have this T/A color combo?

Just a curiousity issue. How many of you have a 1998-2002 Trans Am, Formula, or WS6 convertibles with a red body and taupe or tan top?? No Camaros please, just the Pontiacs. I see some reds with black tops but I'm thinking very few were made with the above color combo. I've sure tried getting the info from Pontiac but the color breakdowns are next to impossible to obtain for some of the model years.

Interesting.... 2 days and not much response. Let's open it up to Camaros, along with the Pontiacs too, preferably '98-'02.

http://lair.evyl.org/1998-Firebird_P...on_Numbers.htm

doesn't look like there could be too many, considering these are the 98 numbers and they made fewer and fewer until 02

I hear only two vert firehawks my year had this color combo:

Sorry to say, their will only be one shortly, I made a killer deal on a new black top which I really prefer. This is a pre TTII pic.
PS-I think if the thread were titled Red w/TAN top cars come inside!, you may have more hits...?? I have read over this title a few times with out looking inside...fwiw.

My car isn't a TA, but it did start life out as a Red/Tan car, now it is Red/Black, the Tan didn't work for me. Now trying to get rid of the tan carpet.

The Tan tends to wash out the Red and make it look more Orange

Ref Firehawk post, yes, maybe I should have stated the colors in the title but possibly there are not that many out there. Your Firehawk is really sharp. I really like the maple red/tan color combos that were posted as well. Definitely different. Thanks for posting them up!
Also, nice link Fastvert. It is appreciated. I'd sure like to know why I can't get this same info on the 2001 model year.

Thanks, and another benefit of black, both my tan top cars started to look dirty all the time and black doesn't seem to.

This bad boy is going black this summer if it kills me.

Made it with an extra license plate cover. Cut it and added the mesh from a Wal-Mart wastebasket, allowing the FMIC to breathe when hitting the boost... I keep the original in the trunk for the sleeper look at shows/meets:

FWIW, XLR8TOR, I think your color combo is really nice, only one I have seen that I like the tan top on. Those colors really work well together.

I had a tan top on my Mustang, but went with a black top when it was time to change it over. I definitely think the black cleans up the look a LOT.

Also that Maroon vert
