Another Procharger car in the 9's...
 

Well, after a couple of pointless trips to the track...

1. No rollbar, first pass 10.7 lifting at 1000ft - asked to leave track
2. Belt slipping, only 2 passes, oildowns all afternoon, looked on logs only making 9psi

After fixing those 2 problems we had one good day yesterday in Tulsa, 70 degrees

Just a note, I would probably still have a 346 in this thing if it wasnt for some comp 918 valve spring failures, didnt cost much more to have all new parts for a 402 so I did it that way. Mild build, didnt want any issues so I kept the motor toned down to 700rwhp @ 12psi - 91octane, no meth (installed, just didnt make any power difference) stock TI mufflers for now...

With over 27k miles on the motor and charger, she still runs good

I'm thinking that it's got a couple tenths left in it between leaving at a lower rpm and a little more tweaking on the shift points but oh well, not bad for something that has drove rain/sleet/snow or shine
Now it does get to hide in the garage alot more so thats a good thing.

Still intrigued about putting a good sized cam in it, changing out the 4.5" pulley for a smaller one, changing exhaust and removing the air filter, but that will be for a different day..

What all is done to the rear end? I am getting a car that is very similar really soon. 408 (iron block), F1c, etc. Its making 850 RWHP now but we're swapping pullies to drop it to 700-750 RWHP. Its a 6 speed though. How hard was the A4 swap?

Oh, and seeing your car just confirms that I will definitely be getting the drag pack for mine. So bad ass.....

The most impressive part of your post. Nothing like have a 9sec car with over 27k miles on the setup

The conversion wasnt bad at all, the biggest pain was mounting a tranny cooler

I went with the TCI tcom box, just so that I didnt have to rewire the whole mess

Let me know if you ever need any pointers on that, I've got alot of info saved up
