Default MT 295/45/17 tire choice anyone?

I'm debating on which tire to go with in the spring and noticed the 295/45/17 runs at 27.2" tall so 1/2" taller than my stock 275/40/18's and about the same tread width so fitment should be no issue in the wheelwell. Not too bad plus the wheel gap should look pretty good. I'm lowered on the stock bolts and could still use a little less wheel gap. Is anyone running them and if so, any pics? I'm not sure if I should go this way and get some 17x9 1/2 C6 Z-06 rims all around or stick with the 18 x 10 1/2's and get the Nitto 305/35/18's.

Pros/cons anyone? Any good experiences?

Also, I had the BFG DR's on my old TA and they pick up all of the little pebbles on the road and made a racket. Will the MT's be the same or worse? I've driven in a car with the Nitto's and they seemed pretty good compared to the BFG's.

Lastly, these would be for the street since I have a seperate set for the track(if/when I ever get back there!)

Thanks guys!

I run the 295 just watch tire to inner wheel well clearance! I busted one out already for car being lowered on stock bolts. But boy does that tire hook on my Vette! I will look for pics.

Thanks Dragman,
How wide of a 17" rim are you running, 9 1/2?

Do they pick up all the little pebbles on the road really bad? After you heat them up I'm sure they would but for normal driving do they?
