Default Hopefully about to join the elite "Two Seater" club....and Can't wait!!!

Well guys some of you may have seen my other thread regarding my totalled WS6 "7800 worth of exterior damage alone." LOL. so now I'm looking to take lemons , and make lemonade I found what I think to be a pretty great deal on a C5. The car is a 2000, BONE STOCK, with 28k miles, FULLY LOADED with every single option including HUD, 12 disk , etc for....16.5k! AND its a six speed. The car is being sold by the children of the original owner, he bought it brand new and unfortunately passed away about a year ago. Its been driven less than 4k miles a year, and its close to home. Its also my all time favorite color combo (Silver with Black Leather), same as my old WS6. Any thoughts/opinions/things to watch out for? It stikes me as a steal, and I am absolutely DYING to buy that car within the next two weeks.
Thanks fellas!
Blake

It sounds like a good deal. It does seem fairly cheap but its not a Z06 model or FRC is it? Get the vin number and run it through Carfax. Make sure its not a salvage title or anything. Most of all, take it on a drive in some traffic for about 30 minutes, then bring it on the highway and get it up to around 75-80 mph and see how it handles. See if it goes into gear smoothly, check for leaks, especially where the driveshaft connects to the diff. Those are the main things you want to check out.
