Default C5 Z06 Snow Pics

After 12 inches of SNOW in DALLAS!!! I parked the daily driver and did a little snow test in the z06 and I was very pleased with the results. I dont yet understand why some people say the c5 z06 is not a good daily driver the car did everything perfectly. Yes I actually drive my Z06

Looks like your airdam was acting like a mini snow plow the whole day.

My FRC is "technically" in storage but I do get it out every couple weeks to take it for a quick spin. Even if there is some snow on the ground. Here is a pic from last weekend.

Well I going to miss the snow but at the same time glad it’s gone. I guess I was lucky that nothing got damaged. Had a few close calls of other drivers losing control of their cars and coming too close for comfort to me but thankfully no accidents. And yes my car was definitely a snow plow only on my street thought I think my neighbors appreciated it. Now the fun part...a full on detail

No offence but why? Because of other motorist?

I don’t think there was any salt, a lot of sand though. I will do a closer inspection after I lift the car for an underbody detail.

Almost the entire car is made out of fiberglass you're not going to see much rust. Its snowed a few times down here and I still drive my car. I try to avoid driving it when I don't have to not because I'm "afraid" of it(please lol) but because other drivers are absolutely terrible. People can't drive when it's sunny, when it starts raining/snowing here it gets pretty bad.

I live in DFW also. My z06 was parked in the driveway just like any other day. From the front it was completely covered in snow and from the side about halfway up. I have a 2nd car i drive daily now. With my current job the corvette wouldnt work anyway. For about 4.5 years I daily drove my car and really only bought a 2nd car when I had so many troubles with the engine build. My vette actually has over 90k miles.

Try that in the northeast and you will end up calling 911 because your stranded. Not to mention one joyride down our roads in the winter time will leave your car with so much rust you won't know what to do with it.

Between the ice, snow, potholes, salt, etc ... you car would be destroyed here. I've never seen so much snow in one year as we have had this year.

Now into our 4th or 5th big storm of the year. I've lost count. Getting the snow blower ready again when it stops on Friday

I would never have tried to drive my vette up north with feets of snow. Though if I every was stranded, 911 would be the last number I would call.
