New Corvette IRS 1/4 Mile Record..........
Almost! 8.57 @ 160
Converter or tranny was going away and finally did yesterday.
My 1/8 was off by .1 all day. If I would have not clicked it off early on my first pass 8.75 @ 127 I would of took it. Oh well it's gonna be a interesting year!

Technically the Corvette IRS record is held by a C3 at 8.3x. We both have a way to go yet, but I'm sure between me, you, and Silas' LMR car, someone will kill it for sure this year.

My guess is by the time the LSX shootout comes around, 7's IRS will be surpassed by a few people in mind.
I dont have the time now to focus on my car, but I think Silas' car is ready to do it now, and I dont know how close yours is, but there are others looking to play too that may get it done.
pretty cool!!

Silas' car is a C5 diff, and mine was last year along with 4DRUSH's car, (both in the 8's) but this year I swapped it out to a ZR1 diff too. So far no other changes, but I have a few in mind when I get time..

What are you guys doing about the rear gear? TJ is working on a 390 I think but it's still a few months out.

I am running a 3.42 anyway, so it isn't a problem, but to get a 3.90 gear in the ZR1 size, Motive wants a minimum order of something like 50k worth. Thats a lot of gears on the shelf..
