I got 384 and 377 with full exhaust and a tune on my 03. Your cam is being really choked by factory exhaust. Anyway, you should make 430-440 rwhp on a dynojet with full exhaust and tune.

Interesting how people are talking about "full exhaust". The stock Z06 axle backs flow very well. They outflow almost every single exhaust out there other than the 3" systems (and in some cases, more than the 3" systems). From what I've seen, the only 3" system that's made more power to the ground proven on a dyno is the LGM Big 3.

The thing is that replacing the axle back (even if it gives you 2RWHP) puts you a step back since the majority of aftermarket systems weigh 20Lbs more than the stock TIs.

I would agree with doing the headers and x-pipe, but leave the stock axle back if you want to go faster, unless you're looking for a louder sound.

I'll guess 415-420 RWHP. Are you going to the dyno again soon? Also as mentioned the stock Ti mufflers flow very well but your gains will be from the LTs and X really helping the cam to breath.

Speaking of the Ti mufflers I've heard that bigger combinations (H/C/I/E or just C/I/E) show maybe 5-10RWHP with cutouts open. I would love to have dual 2.5" electric cutouts on mine. I used to have a single 3" cutout on a C/I/E Trans Am and it sounded great at idle and screamed at WOT. Just can't drop the $400 + install on it right now.

You will see 430-440 with that cam and set up. Dose anyone know the record for highest HP/TQ for a cam only car with full bolt on's?

Yeah, it is interesting since the OP is talking about adding "full exhaust" to his nicely-sized cam'ed z and getting it tuned. Most all with c5z's who are familiar with the internet know muffler changes on these cars are for sound purposes only. But of course that certainly isn't scientific fact.

OP, looking forward to seeing the #'s! I say 435rwhp 395rwtq

Yep...it's in your garage Actually I bet you've got the "record" for highest cam-only bolt-ons w/ an LS6 intake/TB.

I would get the SVO Green Tops, there 42lb injectors and you can fine them for a really good price sometime ($100-$250) I maxed mine out as well at 440hp (all 28.6lbs will) thats there breaking point. And congrats.

It doesn't outflow the B&B Bullet exhaust system and the B&B Bullet exhaust system weigh 3lbs less than the stock TIs.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there aren't really mufflers on the B&B Bullets. There's some small resonators and that's it. If you're into crazy loud cars, go for it... I'm not a fan of waking the neighborhood up when I come home late at night.

And I'd like to see any power gains from the B&B Bullets on a dyno chart coming from stock. I have seen lots of claims from different manufacturers that their exhaust will show gains over the stock exhaust, but the only dyno I've seen that actually shows gains are the LGM Big 3.

I think the point is that most aftermarket exhausts are more for looks/sound when compared to a C5Z Ti exhaust. I mean in this case really you're paying $600+ for maybe a couple HP and maybe a couple less pounds.

Yeah... It pisses me off that C5 mufflers are the most expensive on the market. It's actually not a Corvette tax, though. It's the configuration of the mufflers that make it non-universal with other cars. So they're expensive because they're super specific and not reusable. It's a shame. But I'm glad that GM actually did the Ti exhaust right. I don't ever plan to swap it for anything else.

However, headers do come with a Corvette tax.
