Default C5 diff upgrade ??? what parts are recomended

Hi guys
running C5 T56
wondering about what´s the best upgrade in the drivetrain for the best $

i´m now at 500rwhp (ls2 404ci) NA been cutting 1.60-1.67 in 60ft at the track going out from 4200-4600rpms but i´m going to spray 100-150shots this summer

but i´m not gona spray threw 1st gear until i upgrade my drivetrain/diff

but what parts are recomended to upgrade (main shaft, outputshaft) or ?
and where is the best buy?

I´m running 2004 Z06 diff 3.42 and stock MN6 Tranny now Z06 suspension all parts are stock and SPEC 3+ steel flywheel
using cheaters slicks DOT 26"x11.5x16

we have the special tools to install new parts in the diff BTW.

thanks

Thats the route i took after i broke my left outputshaft. I had 440 to the rear at the time and they held just fine with 17 hoosier dr's. I have 484 to the rear right now but i have not been back to the track yet. I usually come out around 4krpm. Here is a very usefull link i basically followed this step by step after i broke my output shaft http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...and-right.html This should help alot.

Im pretty sure the c5 output shafts are stonger than the c6 output shafts.....Driveshaft shop has a nasty 1000 rwhp axle kit and if you wanna upgrade your diff its a no brainer..RPM ALL THE WAY...Hit jeremy up with a pm he will fix you all up. Im sure you can get your rear diff built using your factory as a core for around 2500 bucks...Very cheap imo, considering EVERYBODY knows they are the best in the country But would keep the output shafts and axles you already have as opposed to switching the the shitty c6z's....

i just ordered the c6-z06 left and right shafts it has been shown to be stronger. i guess it depends if you can diy or not. (labor cost more then the parts) $200 for c6 parts or $2000 for a diff from a sponer that most likey only has a 300m left shaft. i'll take my chances. im at 500rwhp and will most likey be running a 100 shoot on et street slicks. cut 1.65 and a few 1.55 last year on the stock diff. trapping 133mph what are you using the car for i only go to the track for fun like twice a month and run drag radials on the street most of the time

i'm at 500rwhp too cutting 1.6 60ft on the stock c5Z diff 3.42 on et street slicks dot 26inch and no problem so far after many many launches at 4500rpms whith a bit of spinning.
I drag race lot in the summer time,

and am planning on 100-150 shots next summer so i'm worried about breaking something if i hit the juice in 1st gear

so should i take the chance and hope it will hold and maby just lock out the 1st gear or upgrade before something happens.
it would be great to go out from the hole at 4000-5000 rpms on the juice whith out worrie about breaking

these c6Z shafts sounds good.
but are they good enough for this task.... i see 300M parts are much more cost

VERY EXPENSIVE AGEED on shafts...Differential is well priced tho...You wanna go bulletproof go RPM...Just ask any reputable shop.
