Goin to be painting my 99 c5 in the next week or so and was wonder what the cheapest place was to buy the rear fender flare kit from was. I found them for 899$. And are they any easy to put on. Any thing helps I'm just wondering about them

I think they're pretty easy but you could save money and keep a stock look by just mini-tubbing it.

Ya. My c5 is my daily driver and mainly just want the flares for the look of it.

I run the Lewis 5 flares. Fit was very good but they needed just a little prep work. Definitely not a big deal. $899 is about what you'll find them for. Another cost will be wheels to fit the fenders. I'm running CCW SP500's with 18x10 on the front and 19x13 on the rear. Michelin PS2's in 275x35x18 and 345x30x19. Traction is definitely improved over the 315 PS2's I ran before these.

I also got rid of the side lights for a much cleaner line.
