Looking at picking up a 04 z06... but tires... It will be my daily driver and it will not see any snow. I am a little apprehensive of shelling out $1000 every time I need new tires. I am willing to sacrifice some dry road performance in favor of some wet and tire wear. I am currently searching on tirerack,com and discounttire.com Anyone of a similar mindset that has found some options?

Toyo T1R, great bang for the buck, good traction wet or dry and wear very well. Another good one is the Vredstein Ultrac Sessanta. Both tires are available in sizes that will fit your Z06 and you should be able to find them for well under 1k for a set of four. Hope this helps.

its all on your driving style.. you can get along life out of normal tires, as long as you run correct tire pressure and have a good alignment..
if its your commmuter then a normal nitto 555 tires would do great.
