Default C5 corvette having issues unsure what to do

I have a 98 c5 6speed manual, i am not sure what to do or how to go about fixing it, my brother drove the car for a few days, parked it in the drive way.. i go to get in the car and put tue key in the dash lights up .. i turn the key and nothing happens.. no click form the solenoid,no cranking , nothing.. i found out if i unhook the battery for a few mins and hook it back up, the car will then turn over and fire up.. if i shut it off for a few mins it wont crank and i have to unhook the battery again... i think maybe bcm is bad but not sure...

Sounds like a loose ground somewhere or loose battery terminal.

Check the starter solenoid wires, its directly connected to the battery. The starter is located on passenger side under header, could be loose or corroted or burned wires. That is always hot so disconnect neg batt. terminal from the battery. First. corvetteforums has a bunch of electrical posts regarding this.
