Default Emission & larger displacement/all-bore setups?

I'm just starting some research for my next little project and would like to get some feedback from an emissions standpoint from any ls1 guys or gals out there in either CA or NJ that have gone the larger displacement/all-bore route.
Being in CA really stinks, but, visual inspection aside - what do some of these setups look like on the sniffer test.

It all depends on the camshaft and cats! But if you want to get hypothetical... If you have two engine of diff size with the same cam, The larger should be cleaner. And if you increase displacement and cam size proportionally the two motors should have similar emissions. But this assumes that there are no tuning or injector changes.

Any thoughts, Tony?

Chris is correct, passing emissions has mostly to do with the camshaft you select and how well your catalytics work. My all-bore 382ci motor passed emissions testing here in Houston with the MTI T1 camshaft (221/221 .558/.558 112) and still made 455 rwhp. It also idled like nearly stock. With the B1 cam (114 LSA) it would have passed even cleaner and sounded even smoother.

This was with FLP catalytics on my headers also.

A looser set of aftermarket rings will cause the car to run a little dirtier too but the camshaft will really have most of the impact.
