Swapping 3.90s for 3.42s

Anyone have any experience swapping gears from a 3.42 to 3.90s or 4.10s? Not just changing the carrier but the gears themselves. I have changed gears in a Camaro and Cobra just wondering if it is basically the same procedure. And what parts are required.

Well the gears are on their way. I am going to call monday and get the master seal/shim set with timken bearings. The rear will probably be out by saturday so I might have a post pretty soon. <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />
