Ok this is going to be knid of long but you need to read it if you don't want to get screwed. It's about Patterson Automotive Machine and Speed Demon Motorsports. We'll start with Patterson. My friend is big into racing and paid Patterson a hefty fee to build him a big motor for his LS1 car. This was in October!!! As of recently Patterson has avoioded contact with him and refuses to even let him get his interior and drive shaft and is doing the same to many others who have money wrapped up there. And get this, to please one guy he screwed over last year, Patterson gives ALL my frinds parts away including his old motor, a good running 382. We're talking Scat crank, Oliver rods, Ross pistons and a cast iron block. Not to get into all the small stuff. And this guy he gave it to knows it's my friends but is unwilling to give it back. So now court is in the future for all these guys. I mean come on man take YOUR **** up with Paterson. Like YOU said it isn't cool to rob Peter to pay Paul. So now to Speed Demon. Receiving stolen property?!?? Yep! Bought my friends heads from Patterson and is refusing to give them back even though he knows the situation. My friend payed for them and didn't see a dime so there is even more he is out. And when confronted, Chris takes them off the car they were on and hides them. Come on Chris is that any way to run a legit company?? I understand you get screwed if you give them back but take it up with Patterson. What you are doing is wrong. Oh yeah all you guys who think the have GTP heads from there, 75% DON'T. Chris is buying junk heads from some out of town guy and selling them as GTP heads. YOU CAN'T TRUST THIS GUY and if you don't quite believe me check your ID number Craig puts on ALL his heads. Bet Chris didn't tell you about that. Point to all this being that my friend has a great car without either motor he payed for or any of his parts. Messed up huh? I just don't want to see anyone else go to someone you now know is going to screw you. He doesn't care about his customers. I suggest to all to stay away from Patterson and definitely Speed Demon. You guys involved in this need to be MEN instead of cowards and do the right thing. Give my friend the stuff you KNOW is his and take your beef up with Patterson.

This is not necessarily the opinion of the ls1tech owners but you need to get your friend to post here. You weren't even party to the transaction, you have no evidence, and some pretty serious accusations.

Not to get involved but Jason would like to get his stuff back Mike including those heads you took to Patterson!!!! You need to call him and settle this ****!!!! Also, Patterson is not in business anymore behind all this!!!!

 

1) Patterson is out of business
2) Speed Demon openly admits they dont sell GTP heads anymore as they changed providers. Their webpage makes no reference to GTP so maybe customers that didn't ASK thought they were still getting GTP?
3) If speed demon gave the parts back to your friend, he'd effectivly be stealing from some other customer, in effect, robbing peter to pay paul just like you suggested. All this seems like Pattersons fault, and the payback there was them going out of business. Paterson stole from your buddy, seems like he should take it up with him, not speed demon (whom paid for the parts). Direct your anger towards the person that screwed you, not some business thats still kicking just because they can maybe help you out. Its not their fault.
4) This has nothing to do with corvettes.
