DR's on stock C5 rear end

How well will the stock C5 rear end handle DR's? My Vette has over 380rwhp

I wouldn't "side step" it at 6000 rpm but, you'll be fine. A good 4000 rpm launch will get you down the track ok.

That is enough power to snap an output shaft. Heck there are guys on the CF that are stock with DRs and brake one. If you do a search over there you will find more output shafts are broken on DRs than on ET Streets. I say you have a better chance of not breaking but don't be suprised if you hear a loud pop and the car won't roll anymore. Best of luck :)
