Default What kind of power will this cam make in a stock 2002 Corvette?

CAM 224/228 .581/.588 112

The only mod to the car will be the cam, springs, and pushrods...

Thanks

Probably right around 15-20whp. You need a full exhaust and an intake, along with a tune, to see good gains with that cam (or most cams, for that matter).
At least your car will lope a little bit.

Yes.. I agree with that..you will need to get some long tube headers and good exhaust to make the most of a cam swap..I'd say 20 HP... maybe a little more but not much without exhaust mods...he has an 2002 car so it has the Z06 intake on it already

If I got headers, and exhaust then how much would I gain.

I would say around 345-355 range with nothing more then teh cam swap and a tune. With Headers around 360-370 and with heads cam headers and cat back maybe around 380 or so. I had a 99 A4 with a 222/222 581/581 114LSA cam with TPIS headers, Custom heads, ASP Pulley, stock cats, corsa catback and a 3200 VIG stall with 3.15 gears that would not lock on the dyno. It made 388RWHP.

On my 02 Z06 with Long Tubes, Varam intake, B&B Cat Back and a 228/232 581/592 112 LSA cam I put 415 to the tire. This was on a very conservative tune with 91 octane.

I made 414 with a set of TEA 1.5s and a smaller 224/224 581 112ls cam. It was very drivable and had good power down low.

Probably about 335 rwhp through the stock exhaust. Will some more bolt on's (some form of CAI, full exhaust, ported TB, pulley) you could see around 390 rwhp if you're a 6 speed.

I put that same cam in my Z06 a couple of years back.
I already had all bolt-on mods, it produced 36 rwhp.
Here's the dyno sheet before 376, w/cam 412.

I made 412 in a C5 Coupe (not Z06) with a cam + bolt-ons.
