Default Christmas present just arrived by UPS....

The new ECS Paxton kit. Off with the Magnacharger and on with the new Paxton. Looks like I have some work to do over the holidays...Sold the Magnacharger to a guy in Houston. He droped off his 2004 Z06 at my house and is paying me to install it, paint his new hood and get it tuned.. So it didn't cost me any money out of my pocket to buy the Paxton kit...

3.5 pulley. I should be at 8-9psi with a restrictor plate installed and when I do forged pistons and the restrictor plate removed 13-14psi...

The maggie was fun for a while. I just falls on its face at about 5800rpm and stops making hp there...

I'm glad you ditched that big hunk of poo for a real blower. You'll be happy.

Someone better tell the top fuelers that a centrifical is better than a positive displacement SC, although on the vette I never cared for the jack-shafted Eaton that Magnuson uses. For efficiency in a forced induction Corvette ,a twin turbo would be my choice.

I wanted twin turbos but laying out another $3-$4K right now wasn't possible. As it is selling the Maggie and the guy paying me to install and tune it plus install and paint his new hood let me get into the ECS Paxton without spending any money.
