How old are you corvette guys???

I'm 26 with a good record and no accidents and am seriously considering a C5. But I'm afraid to call up my insurance company and ask them what it'll cost for full coverage on a $20k+ sports car.
had to beat the system so i can afford this car, its a "company car" so my insurance is only $100/mth and had to get rid 2 of my other cars. not a bad sacrifice

There's no credit when your young, lol. Not many good jobs at 18 either.
And you can live at home.

I have two children. I would of had one years ago, but impractical for me right now.
Of course, I could use it for a weekend warrior.
I got a 22 year old brother. He has a good job and he's going to buy a viper or the new vette. I talked him out of it. Told him to buy a house first. He's listening to me.
I told him trust me on this one, plenty of time for a viper/vette later on.

I'm one of those cops that ask about driving daddy's vette, but really only because it gets such a rise out of the yougins. I think its great if your parents buy you a nice car or great car, as long as you appreciate it and treat it and your parents great. I can't say to much anyway my wife bought me mine.
For the youngins that pay for their vettes, more power to you I think it is great.
