Im sorry but im not very familiar with We Sanding and I really dont know what it is, Im guessing using a really fine sand paper and getting it wet ?

What is the point of that ? Wouldnt you be better off by using a Porter Cable and some heavy polish ???


Great Looking car too!! Im looking for a SW Z06 but im not finding one so I might go with Red or Yellow.
I didn't wet sand this one myself, but I know what's involved for a finish like that..

Fine sand paper (2000+ grit) with a bowl of water that you constantly dip (to clean off the sanding sludge that accumulates)..

You sand out the "orange peel" in the clearcoat. Something that a PorterCable alone can't do.

After sanding until you feel it's "right," you use a buffer and compound to polish it out...

Find a good body shop and make arrangements to leave your car for a day or two...

I know after this process the cars paint will look like glass but wouldnt you sand down alot of the clear coat and leave the paint more unprotected ???

It is a carbon fiber hood made by MCM. Very good fit and high quality piece. I think it belongs on a corvette.

New guy here, all these cars look great! But I love the C6 and Iam in the market for one! The only problem is that I cant decide between silver or sunset orange...?
