little plastic thing behind gas pedal? Some guy told me his 04 didnt have it. it was this black plastic peice behind the gas pedal and was almost like a stopper. Can I remove it? Is it safe, will it make it faster?

I think it is simply there to hold the carpet in place. I took mine out when I insulated the front but put it back. If you take it out you will have two bolts just sticking up.
