transmission question on a 97 vette?? Help me out i have a 97 vette auto but i wanna make it a 6 speed.. will it cause any problems ? do i have to change anything else ? if u know any info on this let me know it would help alot...

Thats a load of work, you would be better off to buy another car with the 6-speed but if you must use the current car get ahold of Gene > http://www.geneskarshop.com he sells all the stuff to do the conversions and knows everything you'll need.

I agree give Gene a call in FL. He can get you everything that you need. You will also need a program for the trans swap. I have worked with him on a 6 speed to auto swap in a 2004 Z06.
