will my new exhaust be too loud
I'm having second thoughts about my new exhaust setup I'm planning on using. Its long tube headers and the magnaflow magnapack catback (part number 15763) along with the stock cats. I'm now afraid this is going to be really loud. Anyone else have this setup? How is it?
I realize its going to be loud, but how loud is the question.

Well I dont know about the magnaflow exhaust but I can tell you I have LG lt's and corsa exhaust and it is quiet at idle/low rpm. As long as I am doing no crazy driving it sounds quiet and oh yeah did I mention thats with a x pipe and no cats. I havent heard to many exhaust be to loud at idle or normal driving.

If I am not mistaken, the Magnapack doesn't have any true mufflers, just resonators, so I'm willing to bet that it will be quite loud, even with cats.
I am running the regular cat-back Magnaflow system that puts polished mufflers where the Ti stockers were. Even with my LT's and x-pipe, it is a very mellow sound, deeper than stock.

LG Pro Long Tube Headers, no cats, X-pipe, and Billy Boat Quad tip Bullett no mufflers.
This thing is loud at idle, loud at part throttle, and insane at WOT above 4000 rpms.
Did I mention that this thing is loud?? Go check out one of my videos and you can listen for yourself. Me and V-Tech have pretty much the same exhaust, he'll tell you the same thing. Good luck.

I realize its going to be loud, but how loud is the question.

Well..have no fear.
DYNATECH..the company that builds some pretty decent exhaust systems for alot of different vehicles...sells some pretty cool EXHAUST CONE. They look like a strainer(something you'd use to drain water out of some pasta or something) but shaped like a funnel...for maximum velocity. It reduces alot of the exhaust sounds...without loosing much, if any power.

B&B uses these on their C6 bullet systems.....I'm sure other companies may use them as well.
Hope this helps people.
