Default How much $$$ can I get for a C6 Z06...427ci engine with everything included.

As in taking a new (2,300 miles) C6 Z06 and pulling the engine, PCM, all accessories, wiring harnesses, radiator, intake, etc, etc, etc........I'm talking strip the entire engine bay clean.

Whats a good asking price from a buyer?

About half what the crate engine with wiring would go for. It has a warranty, yours won't.

So you think $8,000 is all the set-up would be worth? It'll be 100% turn-key, just install it. Actually the complete exhaust, rear end and tranny would be included too if someone wants it for a Vette.

I'm curious as to why you would do that to a C6Z06 when you could just buy a regular C6 and install a wide body kit on it plus have a stronger frame (assuming you would be making a race car)

If the motor was very in miles, 500 or less, I would think $10K would be fair. 5000 or less, then $8K is fair IMO. If the PCM is also included, I would guess a bit more since it would be very close to a true turnkey.

$13k.

I'd think 8 or 9 would be a fair price... especially considering I can build an engine with those power figures for around that. i know a built engine has no warranty, but neither does yours so i think that's fair.

Does it make the C6 look like a C6 Z06? The C6 has a stronger frame than the Z06?

Also, its juist a 100% street car.

Yes, you can buy all of the parts directly from GM and after paint and install end up spending 5k or so. The regular C6 has a steel frame, C6 Z06 frame is hydro formed aluminum so it is lighter but not as rigid.
